Roadsafe Automotive Products Pty. Ltd. was established in 1994, as a steering & suspension aftermarket supply specialist. Servicing resellers, Roadsafe quickly expanded it's under-car range to include Disc Brake Pads and Driveshafts, with the following years seeing the addition of various brands and ranges to the product lineup.

Roadsafe's parent company at the time was Camelot Design Industry Group Pty. Ltd. (CDIG or Camelot). Camelot was established in 1977 and acted as an indent agent for the majority of chassis parts suppliers in the Australian aftermarket (not including genuine). Camelot held a significant market share in the chassis parts supply area.

Partnership with PAJA Automotive

In May 2006 PAJA Automotive joined forces with Roadsafe Automotive Products Pty. Ltd. (Victoria). Being a successful aftermarket supply specialist in its own right, when PAJA and Roadsafe merged operations, the new Roadsafe provided customers with more advantages and greater product lines & ranges. As Roadsafe we continue to grow our customer base and endeavor to stock a range of automotive products, in specific areas, to cover most vehicle fitments.

Becoming Australia’s Leading Distributor

As the new Roadsafe, we offered Australia's largest and most comprehensive range of chassis parts to our automotive aftermarket. Roadsafe is now a fully-fledged Wholesale Distributor, with strong national distribution and a huge range of automotive spares, specializing in under-car. In addition to our owned and operated warehouses in Melbourne and Brisbane, we also have distributors and reseller customers Australia-wide.

August 2016 saw Road Safe 4wd acquired by Australian Automotive Distribution (AAD) and established as one of the Specialist Businesses in the organisation.
